For over 13 years, RAS has delivered high quality industrial motion systems within the automation industry and in recent years we have developed more solutions in the field of data gathering and analytics for connected industries.  As the importance of understanding both what and how company statistical data is generated becomes more needed we decided to work towards a more dedicated focus on this business.  RAS Edge is the group that has more focus on data driven projects and has a skill set to address more specific customer needs in this wide field.

The name is derived from the idea of Edge based solutions local to the process which we have provided for many customers.  We also have worked with key partners such as HMS UK to offer hardware and software solutions that are dedicated to data gathering, analytics and reporting.  Our expertise in SCADA solutions also offers another option for our customers with complex systems with either local or cloud based data storage.  Our ability to offer bespoke software and reporting solutions, including API development and bespoke desktop program creation has given us the knowledge to help our customers find optimal solutions.

Lead by the two directors, David Ramsay and Elliott Coles, RAS continues to work closely  with key partners  HMS, Baumer and Mitsubishi Electric to provide best-in-class data solutions.
